“Tot” means little, “Oread” means forest creature.
The name of the “Toread” tribe literally means “little
forest creatures”.
The Toread-members
The following 20 forest creatures and their chief “Oread”
form together the Toread” tribe:
Sunny, Flora, Happy, Aurora, Xeru, Pony, Tory, Nutto, Cupid, Comge,
Speed, Masuri, Aby, Kaby, Buddle, Baram, Kuro, Sky, Dony and Poya.

The
origin of “Oread”
When the mountains were created, a little drop was spilled. This drop
was so small that it could not be found. Because of this, al mountains
were ordered not to move around, but the spilled drop “Oread”
could not hear that because it was so small. Therefore, “Oread”
is a little moving mountain, entirely covered with leaves, so he looks
like a little bush.

“Oread” lived alone for a long time. The “Toread’s”
one by one originate in water, fruits, roots, rocks and flowers. Because
of this origin, they take care of all aspects in nature. Nobody really
knows how old the “Toread’s” are. They have been here
long before man existed.

The “Toread’s” like happiness and pleasant things,
they want everyone to be happy. They all have different personalities,
but they all love nature and humans.
The lifestyle of the “Toread’s”
The “Toread’s” love to have fun. Some of the fun games
they play are:
- Flying on a leaf. A “Toread” is about the size of your
palm, so they can ride on a leaf like riding a sled, flying from tree
to tree.
- Hide and seek. “Toread’s” play hide and seek all
day, because it is easy to hide into the forest, wich makes them hard
to find. Try to find them yourself!
- What interest “Toread’s” the most is to meet people
from the human world. They bring them love and let them discover a world
full of imagination. It makes “Toread’s” happy to
make people happy.
Meet
the “Toread’s”
Look around you! Beautiful woods, that’s were the “Toread’s”
are! Look closely into the trees and soil at home, where they play sometimes.
They can also bee found sitting in a tree together in the city center.
Do you see a flying leaf? Look closely, there might be a “Toread”
surfing on that leaf. They are not necessarily in nature. They try to
meet us in a toy store sitting on a shelf like a toy or doll. You can
meet the talkative Tory in a bookstore and library.
There are many places where you can meet “Toread’s”
and make frends with them.
Making friends with the “Toread’s”
Frst of all, you have to believe in the “Toread’s”,
only then you will be able to see them. Second, you must want to be
friend with them. Also you have to be sensitive enough to be touched
by small matters. When you find the key they leave in the human world,
you will feel mysterious happyness and maybe you will be invited into
the “Toread’s” forest…
